2. Mix the Vanilla Cake Mix with spirulina powder.

3. Add the oil, plant based milk and lemon juice to the mix, and mix it all to dough.

4. Move the dough to the baking pan and bake for 20 minutes. To check if the cake is ready, stick a toothpick in the center. The cake is ready when the toothpick comes out clean.

5. When the cake is ready, cool down and then refrigerate for a few hours. Storing in the freezer for an hour or longer is highly reccomended for an easier cut.

6. When the cake is very cold, take off the side of the pan, and cut into two halfs.

Fill the cashew cream cheese cream between the layers. Then apply the side of the pan, cover the cake and refrigerate for at least one hour before frosting the cake with white chocolate ganache.

Blue Cake Frosting

Use Cinnamon Girl's Super Blue Ganache, Cinnamon Girl's Super Tiffany Ganache or make the frosting on your own, followint the instructions:

Add small amounts of blue spirulina powder to the white chocolate ganache or white chocolate and whiskey ganache, and Mix until you have the right shade.

The more spirulina powder you add, the straonger the blue shade will be and the healthier the frosting will be.

If you need light blue or baby-blue shades, start with no more than 1/4 of a teaspoon of spirulina powder for every 100 grams of ganache. If you want the color to be darker, add more spirulina powder, a little bit at a time, and mix the frosting.
