Summer is here!

We Israelis, who grew up back in the 1980s-1990s, all remember the fun of cooking outdoors in summer camps. Whether day-camps, camping trips, or scouts. In this recipe, we share our memories of both experience and flavours from our childhood.

No oven is needed. Kids can easilly make these delicious chocolate balls themselves!

This recipe contains only 2 ingredients:

220 grams petit beurre biscuits

Instructions:

1. Crush the biscuits to crumbs. You can use the blender, or let the kids use a glass for crushing the biscuits (that kept us busy for about an hour as kids in camp every summer).

2. Add the ganache to the bisquit crumbs and mix until it becomes doughy.

*Highly reccomended: heat the ganache in the microwave, 10 seconds at a time and mix until it's liquid and easy to mix with the biscuits.

3. Once the dough is ready, tighten it in the bowl, cover it, and refrigerate for at least one hour. * You can also keep the dough refrigerated all night.

4. With wet hands, form pieces of the dough into the shape of balls. Then roll these balls in coconut, sprinkles or sesame seads.

Keep refrigerated, in case there will be any leftovers after the kids will be done with the cooking class ;-)

*Bonus: you can always make the balls of chocolate in different flavors and colors with Cinnamon Girl's ganaches.
